Wireless Connection for Android
Last Updated 2 years ago

*THIS IS A ONCE PER YEAR PROCESS. YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO THIS EVERY TIME YOU NEED TO ACCESS THE WIRELESS

*These directions are for Android based devices. With that said, not all Android devices are the same. These directions should get you connected but may not be step-for-step how you access it with your device.

  1. Open the Wi-Fi settings on your Android device
  2. Locate the “NCU Activate” wireless network and connect to it
  3. Pull down your notifications and tap on the notification that says “Sign in to Wi-Fi network”, or open your web browser and go to any website
  4. Your web browser will redirect you to the NCU wireless activation page:
  5. Enter in your NCU username and password to log in
  6. A small app will begin downloading. Pull down your notifications and tap on the finished download. Tap “Install”.
  7. When the install completes, tap “Open”
  8. You may be prompted to allow third party software. If so, adjust your security settings and find the prov.apk file in your downloads to run it again.
  9. Tap “Wi-Fi Automatic Connection"
  10. Go back to your wireless settings. You can now connect to the “NCU” wireless network
  11. It is also a good idea to tell your phone to “forget” the “NCU Activate” network, as you no longer need to connect to it.
  12. Open up a web browser on your phone to make sure you can surf the Internet
