Getting started on BigBlueButton: If you're having trouble with BigBlueButton on your browser, please make sure you're not using Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge. Try Chrome, Firefox, or Safari instead. Additionally, make sure your browser is up to date.
Status update: If you're muted or don't want to interrupt a speaker during a BigBlueButton session, you may want to use status settings to communicate things to you quietly. You can also use the public chat function to ask a question or let the moderator/instructor know you have something to say.
In the left panel with the list of participants, you can click on your own name and change your status. Your icon will update in response, so your instructor/moderator can keep an eye out for how your icon changes.
